Africville: A Digital Museum
While a city can bulldoze buildings, it can’t dismantle a community. This museum explores how the people of Africville created a home not defined by its location or the quality of its infrastructure, but instead defined by the connections residents had with each other. Through displacement and hardship, these connections have never wavered, leaving a tight-knit community that continues to this day, long after the removal of the city that spawned it.
